The Skirne field
The Skirne field consists of two gas and condensate reservoirs, Skirne and Byggve, situated in production licence 102. Byggve is located 16 kilometres east of the Heimdal platform, with Skirne 8 kilometres further to the east.

The field is developed with two subsea wells, both in 120 meters of water. The gas and condensate are evacuated in a common flowline to Heimdal for processing and further transport. Skirne was discovered in 1990 and Byggve in 1991. Production started on 3 March 2004.
Total E&P Norge AS (40%) is the operator, and the partners are Petoro AS (30%), Centrica Resources (Norge) AS (20%) and Statoil Petroleum AS (10%).
