Headed towards production on Hild and Atla

The development plan for the Atla field has been approved and the goal is to start production in 2012. We have also submitted the development plan for the Hild field to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The goal is to start production on Hild in 2016. The ownership interest in the Ekofisk area is still our main engine in the North Sea.

We have activities spanning from south to north on the Norwegian continental shelf. It all started in the North Sea, and we still have a strong presence here. An ownership interest of 39.90% in Ekofisk makes this TOTAL’s largest source of income in Norway. Hild may be our next big development in the North Sea.

TOTAL E&P NORGE is the operator of Skirne, as well as a partner in several operating fields, including Heimdal, Oseberg and Troll.
