The TOTAL Group has a long tradition of sharing information and expertise across departments and borders. This has provided TOTAL E&P NORGE access to significant amounts of knowledge, experience and resources. We are, for example, working closely with TOTAL’s own research centre for exploration and development, Centre Scientifique et Technique Jean Féger (CSTJF), located in Pau, France.
The TOTAL Group has activities that include upstream and downstream activities, as well as production of chemicals. In order to contribute to delivering the energy the world will need in the future, TOTAL is also increasing its focus on alternative forms of energy, such as solar energy, bio-energy, nuclear power, coal-based power with carbon capture, and other energy carriers.
